Wanted to share some thoughts on being a rescue adopter from a long-time lurker. I’ve always wanted any dog, but never had the right conditions to let a dog thrive since it was always apartments or condos. After the rough 2020, my wife and I managed to secure our house and then I asked if we could get a furry companion. To my surprise, my wife said that we could definitely have a dog now that we had a backyard and then it was off to the shelter and rescue pages. A dream come true for me and a little bub. `
